Pensioner Ticketing Info

Pensioner tickets are only available for Pensioner Concession Cards and Veteran Affairs Pension Cards (issued by Australian Government – Services Australia). Requires Photo ID and valid government issued concession card on entry to the venue to receive the discount. The following cards ARE NOT eligible for Pensioner entry: Health Care Cards, Senior Cards or Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed anywhere in our venue under any circumstance (service dogs excluded, but appropriate service dog government issued paperwork/documentation must be provided to speedway office prior to the day of the event for pre-approval).

Companion Cards

Companion Cards are recognised at Toowoomba Speedway events. On presentation of the Companion Card when caring for a disability card holder, a free ticket will be offered to the Companion Card holder. If the disability card holder’s admission price is free (eg. Children aged 5 and under), the Companion Card holder will pay for a Pensioner priced ticket. Patrons are advised to visit: www.companioncard.org.au for more information on companion cards.

For online purchases with Companion Cards, just purchase the Pensioner ticket for the client only. On entry to the venue, your Companion card will be accepted as your complimentary carer’s ticket.

Camping

Camping is only permitted in the designated signed area located in the Eastern Carpark (behind turn 1 & 2).

Camping is completely off-grid (no power or water) and campers need to be self sufficient as there are no shower or toilets.

Some of our bigger events where we hire showers and toilets attract a per event site fee.

Anyone camping in any other carpark / roadside will be asked to leave immediately – no exceptions.

Competitors are permitted to camp in the pit area in their race transporter / pit bay only.

No caravans or RVs will be parked in the pit area – no exceptions.

VIP Corporate Boxes

VIP Corporate suites are available for hire, to treat your guests to air-conditioned comfort and corporate hospitality. We have 10 person suites, and packages can be tailored to your needs to include gate entry, pit entry and catering packages. For more details, email   office@toowoombaspeedway.com

Kids at Toowoomba

Children aged 5 & under receive free general admission entry, however tickets still need to be allocated at time or purchase.

Kids in Pits (Competitors only)

Click here to view the Kids in Pits Vest Program rules and regulations. Kids in Pits Tickets are only available at the ticket box on the day of the event. The venue has Kids vest available for sale the Pit Box.

Pit Entry Conditions

It is strongly recommended (not compulsory) that all people entering the pits from the commencement of the race meeting have either Speedway Australia Licence OR a one-day Speedway Australia Licence as it provides you with complimentary personal accident insurance in the pit area. (Anyone over 12 years of age can purchase a one-day Speedway Australia Licence).

The pit area is restricted to people aged 16 years or older WITH ID or must be 12 years or age with a Speedway Australia mechanics card.

You must have covered footwear and not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol to enter the pit area. Junior competitors under 12 years of age with a Speedway Australia Licence can only enter the pits if competing in the same event. One day licence holders under 16 years of age, MUST show ID to enter the pits.

There is only one price to enter the pits and this price includes General Admission, however if you hold an annual Speedway Australia Licence you will receive a discount.

If you wish to purchase a One Day Pit Licence with complimentary Personal Accident Insurance at the gate manually on the day, you can do so at the Pit Box for $25 (on top of Pit Entry Price), alternatively, you can pre-purchase online via the Speedway Australia website or via the Speedway Australia App. You do not receive the Pit Entry discount with a one day licence.

The Dummy Grid, Hotzone and infield is a restricted area for Speedway Australia licenced people only, so if you need to be in any of these areas during our event, you will need a Speedway Australia licence or One Day Pit Licence.

If you are in the pit area / hotzone without a Speedway Australia Licence you are not insured.
